Kids Cooking & Art Classes this Summer at The Factory
With the Kids at home this summer and unlikely to be able to travel, we have devised 3 interactive, educational and fun classes for children aged between 7 – 13 and for groups up to 30 pax at a time
Kids Pizza Making Class HK$ 380 per child – minimum 10 pax Daytime Mon – Saturday
Children will learn how to hand stretch & roll out dough balls into the basic pizza shape, top them with cheese and other toppings.
Children will then help bake them and then enjoy eating their master pieces as part of a lunch
Children will then hand roll dough for doughnuts also to enjoy as their dessert
Class includes soft drinks a pizza to consume or take away plus freshly made doughnuts.
Kids Sausage Making Class HK$ 450 per child – minimum 10 pax Daytime Mon – Saturday
The class includes a lunch of a scrumptious hot dog made for the sausages made in the class, plus some sausages to take home for the family to try.
Children will collect and mix their own dry ingredients by following a simple recipe, they will then combine this with the ground pork meat – this will entail them mixing by hand. They will then load the hand cranked sausage machine and pipe into natural sausage casings, last but not least they will learn how to link the sausages by hand. The restaurant and bar is open for parents to enjoy a spot of lunch or a glass of wine while the kids make their sausages.
Kids Art Class HK$ 420 per child – Saturdays 1:00 – 2:30
The Classes are held in the art gallery above The Factory on Saturdays with art teacher Katie Graham. Parents may drop off their kids for their art class then come and enjoy a lunch of; oysters, steak and a glass of wine with us. Students will learn techniques of painting, drawing and collage. Classes are small sized and suitable for beginners and advanced artists. All art materials are included.
